LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (WJLA) — A high school substitute teacher at Virginia has been charged with assault and battery on a teenage student.
On Sept. 16, the Leesburg Police Department’s School Resource Officer at Tuscarora High School received a report accusing Hans Mirzaei, 68, of forcefully removing a student from a classroom. Police said the student was not injured.
After the report, Loudoun County Public Schools removed Mirzaei from the building.
Leesburg Police Department and LCPS investigated the incident and presented the case to the Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney.
Mirzaei was issued a summons on Sunday and released.
