Students and BISD representatives pose with a $5K check from Burlington Stores
Burlington Stores, through its partnership with the national nonprofit organization AdoptAClassroom.org, donated $5,000 toward school supplies to Guess Elementary in celebration of its new store location now open in Beaumont at 5855 Eastex Freeway.

Classroom.org helped to secure the donation for Guess, which will provide $5,000 in new supplies for teachers’ classroom. Guess cheerleaders, Student Council representatives and staff administration attended the ribbon cutting in support of their partner on Sept. 16.
“On behalf of Guess Elementary, I would like to welcome our new local Burlington store and thank them and AdoptAClassroom.org for their generous donation to our school,” said Principal Sylvia Jenkins. “Our teachers are so excited to purchase the tools they need for their classrooms. We are thankful for the support.”
