Pit bulls are once again allowed in homes. In Excelsior Springs City Council voted to remove *** breed ban this week. City will still ban dangerous jocks, but just not *** specific breed. Animals will only be categorized that way if they hurt somewhat.

The city now has no breed-specific legislation on the books. Instead, the city will ban "dangerous dogs."The city said animals will only be classified that way if they hurt someone.
