Susan Arledge has joined Newmark’s Dallas office as a senior managing director. Arledge brings three decades of experience in site selection and data analytics to her new position.

“We are thrilled to add Susan’s expertise to our tenant representation practice in Dallas,” said Ran Holman, Newmark’s Texas market leader. “Susan has been a leader in this industry for years, her experience and commitment to excellence will deepen our ability to integrate services and serve our clients at the highest levels.”

Arledge joins Newmark from esrp, which was recently acquired by Cresa. At esrp, Arledge was the executive managing director of site selection and labor analytics.

“I am really pleased that Susan will be joining Newmark, as I had the opportunity to work with her for several years, where we focused on tenant representation for our clients,” says Emmitt Smith, Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys running back and chairman of E Smith Advisors. “Susan excelled at providing analytics that allow our clients to assess labor availability and sustainability in a location, as well as real estate costs and availability. I look forward to her bringing her expertise to Newmark.”

Arledge got her start in real estate at Henry S. Miller Co, where she met Roger Staubach and followed him to his tenant representation firm, The Staubach Co.. Arledge then founded the eponymous Arledge Partners Real Estate Group in 1993, before joining Cresa as managing principal in 2013 and esrp in 2015.

“Having Susan join our Newmark team brings her energy, focus on data-driven real estate decisions, and a commitment to her clients—and that is a perfect fit with our team,” said Jim Cooksey, vice chairman at Newmark and founder of Jackson Cooksey, which was acquired by Newmark in 2018.

In addition to her role as a D CEO contributing editor, Arledge is a past Stemmons Service Award winner, past president of the North Texas chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and a board member for American Heart Association.

“I joined Newmark because of the leadership of Ran Holman,” Arledge told D CEO. “His singular vision is to recruit and support an industry-leading broker team, recently adding high-profile talents like Gary Carr’s capital markets team, Brian O’Boyle’s multifamily team, and Mark Masinter’s Open Realty Advisors retail experts. I’m looking forward to working alongside this all-star lineup.”
