As early voting continues through this week, Republican voters in Texas are going to the polls in primary runoff elections to select the nominees for a few statewide races in which no candidate was able to secure more than 50 percent of the vote in the March primary.

The Republican race for attorney general sees incumbent Ken Paxton facing off against Land Commissioner George P. Bush.

As part of our Decision Texas election coverage, we asked Attorney General Ken Paxton questions submitted by Texas Scorecard readers, ranging from what more the office of the attorney general can do to combat voter fraud to whether Texas should declare the southern border crisis an invasion.

George P. Bush declined an invitation to participate.
