After being turned down by four Canyon Lake venues, Beto O’ Rourke campaign officials announced the Democratic gubernatorial candidate will appear at an undisclosed New Braunfels location for an event starting at noon on Saturday.
Chris Evans, campaign communications coordinator, said Saturday’s event would be hosted by a private resident, with an RSVP link available on the candidate’s Facebook page. That resident, who requested anonymity, confirmed that information early Friday afternoon.
Truth. Interesting to see them cloak themselves in the flag and call themselves patriots then do the most un-american things, squash free speech and threaten those with different ideas. We need to welcome grown-ups back to the political discussion and learn to meet in the middle and compromise. Once you lose the ability to at least consider someone else's ideas, you've lost the ability to think critically and think for yourself. I'm embarrassed that Comal County seems to get a lot of attention for such ignorance when really we have very kind, thoughtful people here that know how to work together.
I'm sorry but I have just about had it! What happened to free speech in this country...the only people I hear belly-aching about not having free speech are the ones trying to block a different opinion than they have. Donald Trump spoke here and no one threatened anyone about that...what are you afraid of...that some of your minions will suddenly be swayed by the "other side"? Protesting is one thing but threatening, running busses off the road, breaking windows at the Capitol...that's just WRONG. Save your tears and become a REAL AMERICAN and allow people to hear BOTH sides of the argument.
O’Rourke may have his flaws, but when you look at Abbott’s proven track record of deceit and failure to look out for the best interests of Texas and Texans, it’s hard not to give him a chance. O'Rourke at least seems to be concerned about the well being of the average Texan.

Beto O'Rourke is a descent honest man who will bring people together rather than divide with the hateful racist way's of Abbott.
