WFHS teacher named May Teacher Spotlight Award recipient

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - For our Good News tonight, an English teacher at Wichita Falls High School was named the recipient of the May Teacher Spotlight Award.
Cindy Edwards was surprised earlier today as Evening Anchor Ashley Fitzwater presented her with the award in her classroom.
Wichita Falls High School Principal Laurie Kinne said she has been a fabulous teacher for many years and that Ms. Edwards has been a leader and trained many, many teachers who needed her help!
Cindy Edwards has been teaching for 16 years and is set to retire at the end of the year.
