Two Texarkana ISD principals moving to new leadership positions

TEXARKANA, Texas -- Two of Texarkana ISD's principals are moving into new leadership roles.

Jennifer Cross, of Highland Park Elementary, has been named the district's director of Disciplinary Alternative Education Program. According to a district press release, she brings experience as a teacher and administrator and has been with TISD for 24 years.

Anne Slade, with Spring Lake Park Elementary, will transition from her principal role at the school to supervisor of special programs. She has been with the district for 22 years, serving as a teacher, instructional coach and administrator.

The two educators will start their new positions July 1.
