Sens. Cruz, Daines, King, Colleagues Celebrate Passage of Bipartisan Resolution Commemorating National Park Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joined Sens. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and Angus King (I-Maine) in introducing a bipartisan resolution marking April 20th through April 28th as National Parks Week for 2024 which was passed unanimously by the U.S. Senate. The resolution encourages people from across the country to visit, experience, recreate in, and support America’s treasured national parks.

Upon passage, Sen. Cruz said, “America is home to some of the most beautiful natural treasures on earth, like the Guadalupe Mountains in Salt Flat, Texas, which has the highest peak in the Lone Star State. I’m proud to join my colleagues in celebrating our incredible national parks.”

Sen. Cruz was joined by 64 of his Senate colleagues on both sides of the aisle in introducing the legislation.
