Voters are to elect two trustees for three -year terms on the North Lamar ISD school board when early voting polls open Monday for a May 4 election. Incumbents Dr. Clint Spencer and Joel Sanders are on the ballot joined by Josh Craig and Emma Osborne Jones.

Early voting takes place at the Lamar County Services Building, 231 Lamar Ave., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and again the following April 29 and 30, according to information on the Lamar County Election website. Voting on May 4 takes place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., also at the services building.
