Caleb Tindel, a veteran administrator and current Paris ISD Career and Technology Director, was named the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability by the Board of Trustees at its May board meeting.

This upcoming year will be Mr. Tindel’s nineteenth year in education. He spent seven years as a CTE teacher and the last eleven in administration. His administrative roles include assistant principal, high school principal, assistant superintendent, and CTE director.  Tindel has also served six years on the Honey Grove ISD School Board.

Tindel and his wife Megan, who is also in education, are the proud parents of eight-year-old twins and live on a third-generation family farm where they raise cattle, and manage other agriculture businesses.

According to Incoming Superintendent Althea Dixon, “We are fortunate to have someone of Caleb’s caliber and experience to move into our Assistant Superintendent position.  He has had prior experience as an Assistant Superintendent, but most importantly he has worked as our CTE Director and has done an amazing job of growing this program.  We have the utmost confidence that he will do a great job for Paris ISD.”
