An an "old" retired teacher, coach and administrator, I read with interest the money offered to AISD employees who receive a COVID shot (Reporter-News, Sept. 22).

Since when do we offer money to folks for doing something that very well might save their own lives?

I understand that folks do not like demands placed on them, but to entice someone to get a shot that might very well save their lives with tax payer money seems a little far fetched.

I dunno, times are changing and nowadays, they seem to change in weird ways.
