Free COVID testing and vaccination opportunities in Jefferson/Hardin Counties

JEFFERSON/HARDIN COUNTIES — Free COVID-19 testing is available in Jefferson and Hardin County.

Drive-through testing Friday-Sunday from noon-7 p.m. at the former Hardin County Hospital/Annex at 440 West Monroe Street in Kountze. Results expected in 24-36 hours. Register HERE

Jefferson County Pct. 4 Commissioner Bo Alfred is hosting free COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics Saturday, September 18 and Saturday, October 2.

The September 18 testing and vaccination clinic will be held from 9-1 p.m. in the parking lot of Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church, 3755 Fannett Road in Beaumont. No registration is required for a vaccination. Registration is required for testing. Call (409) 926-9529 to register. They're also offering flu shots, a blood drive, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, and voter registration. Please have and ID and insurance card available. A limited number of vouchers will be available for those who don't have insurance.

The October 2 testing and vaccination clinic will be held from 9-1 p.m. at Willie Ray Smith Sr. Magnet Middle School parking lot, 4415 Concord Drive in Beaumont.
