A group of state lawmakers has met with Governor Greg Abbott about news that the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma may leave the Big Twelve for the SEC. The lawmakers have connections with other universities in Texas, including Baylor, Texas Christian, Texas Tech and Texas A-and-M. None of the legislators explained what they talked about with Abbott. One of them -- State Representative Jeff Leach -- says he's working on a bill that would require legislative approval for Texas to leave for the SEC.
