Public hearing regarding the 2021-2022 district budget; report on stakeholder surveys regarding a plan for federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds; graduation 2022; consider adopting the 2021-2022 district budget; consider adopting a resolution to provide a $125 stipend to each Amarillo ISD teacher, counselor, nurse and librarian to purchase student supplies, as part of the 2021-2022 district compensation plan; consider approving the participation of select elementary campuses in a curriculum pilot; consider approving a one-time stipend for teachers who implement the elementary curriculum pilot; consider selecting an architect and approving the related contract for the remodel of North Heights Alternative School into an early childhood campus.

Amarillo Environmental Task Force

11 a.m.; Simms Municipal Building located at 808 S. Buchanan St. 

Discussion and tour of landfill facilities: The task force, accompanied by staff, will participate in a tour of current operations and programs at the Amarillo Landfill. During the tour, the task force may discuss landfill operations and programs. Transportation to the landfill will be provided. Transportation will depart from the Simms Building at 11 a.m. The landfill is located at 16250 Bezner Dr. No votes will be taken, or decisions made during this informational tour.
