Students from Tyler ISD’s RISE Academy walked the stage Wednesday night, receiving their diploma from Campus Teacher of the Year Rocquel Pettigrew. The short ceremony lasted 25 minutes. Students smiled and parents applauded as Principal Dexter Floyd called the students to turn their tassels. Parents met their graduates after the recessional outside of Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium with hugs, kind words and congratulatory balloons.
