As per Governor Abbot’s orders, schools are closed until Friday, April 3, 2020.

The closing of schools does not negate the necessity for the children’s education, and each school district is implementing its own style of virtual schooling.

A variety of education is being offered online in various ways.

The school is being cleaned and sanitized during this time period, and Evans is working to make sure all employees receive pay during this time.

Wednesday March 25 will be the start of a regular bus route at 10:30 a.m. Children will ride to school and be able to receive their lunch via the school’s back door and the next day’s breakfast then returned home.

ANY child from three to eighteen within Dew ISD area – even if not attending Dew ISD – will be fed as well between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. They just need to go to the back door of Dew ISD, same as the students starting on Wednesday as well.
