Open Door Christian School Fall Fest fundraiser is tomorrow (Oct. 12) from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Graham downtown square.

Fall Fest will have food, vendors, games, rides, live music and arts and crafts to keep the family entertained. Tickets will be sold for $0.50 each with each game requiring tickets to play. Principal Tim Guice said this has been their largest fundraiser for over 14 years.

“It started out kind of small with things around the school, on the street and the playground,” Guice said. “Now, it is on the square downtown and it has become a large event. It is just a community time for family and children.”

He said the games and rides are provided through different companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

“We have a chairperson who is charge of the event, which is LeeAnn Stetson, she is also a secretary,” Guice said. “But, she heads up the event. We also have a lot of volunteers, school board members, teachers and parents help us out. Without their help it would be very difficult for just one or two people to put it together.”

The principal said the funds will benefit the students and help bring down the cost of tuition as much a possible.

For more information on the Fall Fest, contact Open Door Christian School by phone at 940-549-2339 or in person at 735 Oak St. in Graham.
